The City Assessor, acting as an agent of the State, is responsible for maintaining the accurate records of the property ownership, and the equitable valuation of taxable real estate and personal property.

The place for Voter Registration, Election Information, Marriage Licenses, Dog Licenses, Hunting & Fishing Licenses, Birth & Death Records, Liquor Licenses, Special Events, Business Licenses, Notary Public & Dedimus Justice Services.

The City Manager's Office works with the City Council to constantly improve City programs and services, provides information and assistance to residents, and assures that all City initiatives embody the principles of quality and efficiency.

The Code Enforcement Office provides services that guide the physical development of Gardiner toward the achievement of community goals. These services include, but are not limited to, permits, inspections, and enforcement.

The Gardiner Economic Development and Planning Department works to create an environment that encourages economic growth by supporting Gardiner businesses, strengthening our community, and maintaining a high quality of life.

The Finance Department is responsible for the Stewardship of the City’s financial resources and functions, and is responsible for providing the City Manager and all departments within the City with fiscal support.

Gardiner Fire Department is dedicated to being the best community focused fire and rescue department that meets the ever changing needs of our community while ensuring a safe and secure environment for all through professional development, unity and teamwork.

The HR Department is responsible for development and implementing the City's personnel policies, collective bargaining, training, employee assistance program services, comprehensive benefits, risk assessment, and Workers Compensation.

The Gardiner Public Library proudly serves the communities of Gardiner, West Gardiner, South Gardiner, Farmingdale, Pittston, Randolph, and Litchfield.

The mission of the Gardiner Police Department is to enhance the quality of life and provide a sense of safety and security. We are committed to the protection of constitutional guarantees, maintenance of order and safeguarding of life and property.

The Department of Public Works is responsible for and committed to maintaining the city's physical infrastructure and providing quality services to the citizens of Gardiner. Public Works maintains all city streets and public right of way amenities.

The Tax Collector Department is responsible for collection of real estate, personal property, and excise taxes.

Gardiner Wastewater provides wastewater treatment for the communities of Gardiner, Farmingdale, and Randolph. With assistance from Gardiner Public Works, the Wastewater Department is also responsible for responding to and resolving sewer complaints.
