Outdoor Water Meters

If you have flower beds, a pool, or a garden we recommend you obtain an outdoor water meter from the Wastewater Treatment Plant. The outdoor meter can track the amount of water usage that is going into to ground and not into the wastewater collection system - reducing your sewer bill.

There is a one time cost of $150 for the meter and an account must be set up with the Sewer Billing Clerk for the outdoor meter with a base line meter reading. Then users must report readings quarterly. Contact the Sewer Billing Clerk at 207-588-4070 for more details.
